Pauline Hennig is a research assistant at the TU Dresden. She is involved into the two projects INTERACT and ReKIDS. Her research focuses on the critical examination of education for sustainable development and its integration into the classroom.

Uwe Krause
Uwe Krause is Senior Lecturer of Geography Education at Fontys University of Applied Sciences Tilburg/NL. He is project leader of the Erasmus+ project Teaching Controversial Issues (www.atlasofeuropeanvalues.eu) and conducts research on textbooks, values education and (higher order thinking) task setting of teachers.

Elena Flucher
Elena Flucher is a PhD candidate and researcher at the University of Graz, working on the Interact project. Her work focuses on exploring how to address controversial issues within Education for Sustainable Development. She is particularly interested in discussions surrounding underlying understandings of knowledge and the role of values in shaping educational approaches.

Nicole Raschke
Nicole Raschke is a professor and holder of the Chair of Geographical Education at TU Dresden. Her research focuses on emancipatory education and the relevance of geography in the context of social transformations. By emphasising action-oriented and participatory educational approaches, both pre- and in-service teachers and learners are encouraged to participate and reflect critical.

Tom Wils
Tom Wils is Lecturer in Teaching Geography at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Tilburg, The Netherlands. He conducts and supervises research in geography education, including rethinking human-non-human relationships, relational thinking, decolonisation, wicked problems and futures education.

Fabian Pettig
Fabian Pettig is Associate Professor of Geographical and Economic Education at the University of Graz. He conducts research on transformative learning processes in the context of socio-ecological transformation, geographical media education and participatory research and education formats in schools and universities.

Joost van Damme
Joost van Damme is Lecturer in Teaching Geography at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Tilburg, The Netherlands. He conducts and supervises research in geography education, including the use of language and logic, modelling behaviour by teachers, the use of visualisation skills, and relational thinking.
